Information for judges.

The Birmingham & District Dobermann Club, The Midland Dobermann Club,  The North of England Dobermann Club,  The South East of England Dobermann Club,
The South West Dobermann Club & The Scottish Dobermann Club maintain the judging lists A1, A2, A3, B & C.

From 31st December 2025 all judges must be registered on the RKC’s JEP platform.  The level at which they are registered determines the number of classes they
may judge with a caveat that a Club or Society may still invite a judge to award CC’s at shows up to 31.12.2028 via the traditional questionnaire route provided that questionnaire is submitted by 31.12.2026.

To support this, as instructed by the RKC, our judges lists will continue to be updated with CC, Non-CC & breed club show appointments and will remain publicly visible until 31.12.2026.  We have not annotated JEP levels onto our traditional lists.
The JEP status of a particular judge can be found using this link:  https://www.royalkennelclub.com/search/find-a-judge/

Details of each RKC JEP Level & the requirements & eligibility are in this document HERE  (Correct as at 10.12.2025)

Details of how to register on the RKC’s JEP platform can be found here:

The Clubs reserve the right to review and/or amend the lists as is deemed necessary.  We are not required to include all Judges who qualify under this criteria, nor are we required to give any reasons for exclusion. Judges will be notified in writing of any changes to their status.  Inclusion on a Judges list in one year does not automatically ensure subsequent inclusion.  The above Clubs’ will only select judges for their open & championship shows from those who fulfil this criteria

The judges' sub-committee of the six Clubs' have a joint general data protection (GDPR) & retention policy in relation to data held for the judges' lists, please click on the the link below for further information.
